Catalonia Sanç Areny workshop
This large iron bears the inscription engraved around the bishop ‘GIEMSANS AREYN ME FEU LA[N] MCCCXLIII.’ (Giem, from the Sanç Areny workshop, made me in 1343). It was used to make dry pastry wafers or waffles.
