Locksmiths were reputed to have best saws, given that craftsmen made ​​their own tools and that locksmiths were the kings of the smithy. This item is adorned with a wooden handle inlaid with garlands of flowers surrounding a garland of Greek frets; moreover the arbor of the saw is topped by the head of a winged woman, her hat finished off with scrolls.
