Date : XVIth century | Medium : openwork iron engraved with etched edges and velvet braiding, riveted joints


The openwork features both circles and diamonds, more meticulously fashioned on the front than in the back. The etched motifs depict foliage. The corset, fitted with hinges on the side, opened at the front and was shut with iron hinges adjustable to five notches. It was supported by the hips.
