Munich: masterpiece

This lock is decorated on the front in gilded brass with a Venus in the mirror bearing a palm aloft above the octagonal dome. This sole purpose of the dome is show expertise: because it is empty (while in the seventeenth century it protected the fittings). The mechanism is designed so that when the cabinet door closes, the five bolts lock the door simultaneously. The key was not completed.
