Gate with the coat-of-arms of Lottin Charny

LS 1419 et 1421

Date : XVIe | Medium : wrought iron

France

These two small paintings in fact constitute a double gate that once opened a cabinet that belonged to a bishop of the Lottin Charny family, whose arms appear under a brace. It is topped with the saints who were invoked to protect the family: St. Sebastian and St. Michael killing the dragon.
