Amiens

This oculus which was placed high up on a door to light an entrance came from the rue des Vergetiers in Amiens. Its decor radiates around a very skilfully wrought monogram which can be read on both sides of the entrance. The rose window features eight sections, geometrically ornamented and decorated with embossed foliage. They are assembled with rivets and stamped corded chains.
